Program Description
SOS Platform Alerts is an operational and safety notification program that sends SMS messages to recipients who are added to an Agency or Site contact list within the SOS Platform and are selected to receive specific alert types (for example: active threat, system health, device connectivity, or test / maintenance notifications). Alerts may be triggered by authorized SOS Platform users, configured automation, or device / systems events.
Message Frequency & Rate Disclosure
Message frequency varies and depends on the alert types enabled for your Agency / Site and real-world events. During an emergency, incident, test, maintenance window, or outage, you may receive multiple messages in a short time.
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent or received. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
Carrier Liability Disclosure
Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Carrier participation may vary.
Customer Care
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at support@sos-tech.com or (800) 722-7601. When you text HELP, we may respond with program information and support contact details.
Opt-Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting “STOP” to the short code number. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will reply with a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to resubscribe, contact your Agency / Site Administrator or SOS Support.
